Two weeks ago marked the 45th anniversary of Doctor Who on November 23rd, 1963. It ran for 26 years in its first run with seven different actors playing the role. And in that time it became a huge part of my childhood. I can't recall exactly when I first watched Doctor Who; I must have been five or so.
